Security and data protection

How Pool Queue looks after your club's data: where it is stored, who can see it, and how card payments are handled.

1. Where your club's data lives

Your club's data is stored in Canada. Pool Queue runs on Microsoft Azure, in Canada.

Some services process the details they need on their own systems, such as Stripe or PayPal for payments. The privacy policy names them.

Pool Queue’s own storage is in Canada; payment details stay with the payment provider.

2. Monitored around the clock

Microsoft Defender for Cloud watches our Azure services around the clock.

3. Payments stay with the provider

Card numbers go straight from the browser to Stripe, PayPal or Intuit. Pool Queue's servers never receive or store them.

4. Access by role, with two-factor sign-in

Roles for every job: give everyone who helps run your club access to only what their job needs.

Two-factor sign-in works with an authenticator app, and your club can require it for chosen roles.

5. Your data is not for sale

Your members are not our product. Pool Queue never sells your club's data to other companies.

No ads: Pool Queue shows no advertising to your members, and adds no advertising trackers of its own.

6. Reporting a security concern

If you think you have found a security problem in Pool Queue or on this website, email support@poolq.net. Tell us what you found and how to see it, and we will look into it.
