Coaching tools: attendance, assessments, and test sets

Coaches know who is at practice and where each member stands, from a phone at the pool, rink, or field.

Practice starts with a full list

Attendance and check-in run from the coach's phone; swim clubs also get the Clipboard, a coach's home screen with test sets.

Swim clubs start practice from the Clipboard

For swim clubs, the Clipboard is the coach's home screen: today's practices, the groups you coach, one tap to take attendance, and test sets to start or pick up.

03Assessments

Every member in the right group

Coaches record skills assessments, grading each skill the way that suits it, from a quick yes or no to a score or a short note, and level reports show where each member stands. Registration for the next level can wait for a passing result, so members sign up for the group that fits. Account holders get the report by email, with the coach's comments and the recommended next group.

Swimmers and parents see themselves getting faster

Coaches run test sets on the pool deck, and each result is compared with the swimmer's last swim, recent median, season best, and best ever. Every run shows coaches who improved, who set a personal best, and who to watch. Test sets are repeatable, and swimmers and account holders see each swimmer's test sets and personal bests in their account.

A coach's test set run in Pool Queue: today's National Group 10 x 100 freestyle with eight swimmers entered, an insights band showing the roster 0.6% faster on a trend line, 5 of 8 improving with 4 personal bests, and a watch list naming one swimmer slower than usual and one fading, over a grid shading each repeat against the swimmer's own average.
Each run shows who improved, who set a personal best, and who to watch.
